Abrasive wheels training courses are a legal requirement for those working with abrasive wheels in any way. Whether this be purchasing, storing and handling, mounting, dressing and making use of abrasive wheels. This covers all types of abrasive wheels from fixed to portable. Successful completion of one of our abrasive wheel courses will give your staff the competence necessary to operate abrasive wheels. All training will be in compliance with the Abrasive Wheels Regulation 1982 and a certificate valid for 3 years.

All of our safety training courses take place on-site making it easy for you to be sure all of your employees have the skills and knowledge necessary for workplace safety and the safe use of abrasive wheels. All attendees should be fluent in English in order to successfully complete the course and get their abrasive wheels certificate.

Why do I Need Safety Training for the use of Abrasive Wheels?

Abrasive wheels if misused can be dangerous and potential hazards. Without proper training workers may unknowingly run the risk of serious injuries when using grinding wheels. Common errors such as breakages, debris and injuries to the user are very common without the correct health and safety training using bench grinders, angle grinders and other grinders. Our course is intended to mitigate risks by teaching about the correct wheel marking, practical training, wheel storage and more.
